The 486 Kid, or 486 for short, has traveled America with the S.P.A.Z. Renegade Sound System, composing and performing music on the same lo-fi gear for over 14 years! 486's music comes from the guts of obsolete computers, consumer home electronics, and modified electronic toys. 486 got his name from his use of the early Intel 486 Processors powering his clunky DOS sequencing machines.
Emerging from all of this Lo Tech gear, is a high tech sound that most importantly, feels Soulful. 486's belief is that human suffering can be released through the expression, and experience of funky music. To Dance is to connect with yourself, and to be free.
The 486 sound drew the largest inspirations from the Scandinavian Demo Scene Musicians of the mid 80's to late 90's.
486's mastery is minimalism. His ambition is to make the most out of the very least, to ensure it is pure, and good. Using the rawest waveforms,  simplistic microchip noises and crunched samples to make heartfelt, and soul inspiring music. But ultimately, it is not about how the music is made, rather much more how it FEELS!
486 is now going into his 15th year of live sonic reconstruction. His is a sound never emulated, and a performance not to be missed.
